Fairies
We are excited to be able to bring you information about the lives and fairy figurines of some of the most popular fantasy artists drawing and painting fairies. Whether you call them fairies, faeries, or some other derivation, we hope that you will enjoy stepping into the land of mermaids, unicorns, dragons and other mystical creatures for a few moments while you enjoy these fairy figurines and statues.
The majority of the fairy figurines that we have seen are made from cold cast resin and handpainted with acrylic paints. Although fairies have been the subject of art for some time, most fairy figurines were produced after 1980. As they are more modern and haven't been the subject of a pop culture demand craze yet, they have not seen the sort of price inflation that has happened with vintage collectibles or hot items. Most fairy figurines still sell for right around their retail price. But as you can tell from the number of fantasy artists, fairies are a popular item for collectibles and some of these artists from extremely loyal fan bases.
If the story of Disney's Tinker Bell in the tale of Peter Pan is not enough to convince you to believe in fairies, then we encourage you to watch this video:
