Napco Figurines
Napco figurines were sold by the National Potteries Corporation of Bedford, Ohio outside of Cleveland. Founded in 1938, Napco reached the height of its popularity in the 1950s and 1960s as the porcelain collectibles which it imported from Japan were popular. Even today, collectors continue to decorate their homes with the vintage porcelain, ceramics, glass, and pottery products sold by Napco.
Like its competitors, Napco sold a wide assortment of collectibles and decorative housewares, including cookie jars, figurines, christmas collectables, and Napcoware. Yet, its early success in the development of lady head vases for florists to display flowers remains its most popular and valuable series of items. Collectors of figurines will also be interested in its angels, its Hummel-like figurines, and its animal figurines.
